Suez to sell Northumbrian Water

In an attempt to improve its debt position.

The Suez group has put its UK water and sewerage company Northumbrian Water up for sale. Northumbrian serves an area in the northeast of England centred around Newcastle, Durham and Teesside. Suez owns 97.5% of the company. Morgan Stanley is to manage the sale.
