United States: United Water and the city of Atlanta agreed to end their 20-year operations and maintenance agreement signed in 1999 (see story, p.10). The contract was worth annual revenues of $20 million.

Italy: A consortium of Acea and Ondeo in association with Monte dei Paschi di Siena and the Caltagirone Group won the international competition for the Pisa region concession in Tuscany (the Basso Valdarno-Pisa ATO).
