Kenyan PSP possible in longer term

A PwC study has concluded that a Dar es Salaam-style, heavily donor-backed contract could be made to work.

The chances of PSP in Kenya appear to be increasing following a change of government earlier this year. Although the Kenyan Water Act – which was passed last November – opened up the way for concessions to be offered, there seemed little possibility of progress being made until the unstable political situation in the country had been resolved.
