Ondeo’s Singspring stake handed to Hyflux

Ondeo has withdrawn from another Asian water deal – Singapore’s Tuas seawater desalination project – thereby making the Singspring SPV a wholly owned Hyflux subsidiary.

Singapore’s Hyflux has acquired Ondeo’s 30% stake in the SingSpring consortium – the SPV formed to build, own and operate Singapore’s first desalination plant. The Ondeo shares were transferred to Hyflux, which is now the 100% shareholder in SingSpring, for a nominal sum.
