Panama Bay clean up proposed

The government has plans to clean up the bay and rebuild Panama City’s sewer network. Negotiations are underway for IDB loans.

Panama’s finance and economy ministry has called for expressions of interest from companies to carry out the first phase of a project to clean up Panama Bay, which stretches from the Pacific mouth along a 30km shoreline to the west of Panama City.
