Malaysia’s water minister wants to introduce UK-style water regulation. Its most prosperous state will not wait.

Malaysia’s federal government, which had suspended all water privatisation deals by its states earlier this year, has decided to approve one key multi-billion dollar water privatisation deal in the next three weeks, a government minister said at the beginning of November.
