Much of the action this month has been in the industrial wastewater sector where both Veolia and Suez have announced major outsourcing contracts. Veolia won a €1 billion contract from French car manufacturer, PSA.
Suez’s Ondeo Industrial Solutions picked up a €120 million contract to manage water services at BP’s Grangemouth petrochemicals complex in Scotland. The market looks as if it will live up to its promise of 20% growth a year (see David Lloyd Owen p38).
