With a deal with its minority owner nearly complete, the Apulia water utility will soon be free to pursue its ambition.

Water operator Acquedotto Pugliese (AQP) is looking to the future with hope and ambition following its concession to run integrated water and wastewater services in the southern region of Apulia and having come very close to sorting out a long-running dispute involving its major shareholder, the Apulia regional authority, and minority owner Basilicata (see GWI, December 2003).
