Saur has grown out of rural France to take water to the world. It has not made any major mistakes – but nor is it very profitable.
Saur has more water contracts in its home market than Veolia and Suez put together, but they are predominantly small rural communities: Suez has twice as many customers, and Veolia three times as many.
