The Chinese government sees membranes as a core technology in its bid for sustainable development.
The Membrane Industry Association of China forecasts that the annual sales of China’s membrane market will be $2.47 billion in 2015, with average annual growth of 15%. The market is estimated to be worth $618 million in annual revenues. By 2015, China is expected to account for 10%-15% of the world market.
