The Middle East tourist market is booming and it is creating a need for more desalinated water.
A further indication of the importance of the private market for desalination and water reuse projects was given last month, when the developers of the Durrat Al Bahrain tourist resort stated that they would be inviting expressions of interest for a 20,000m3/d SWRO plant and a smaller WwTP.
