The Private Finance Initiative projects in Northern Ireland have attracted interest.
Four consortia have prequalified for the £130 million public-private partnership (PPP) scheme to enhance sewage treatment facilities in Northern Ireland.
The Omega project will improve the wastewater facilities in Armagh, Craigavon, North Down and Belfast Lough and will also set up a system to manage sewerage sludge disposal across the province. The four prequalifying groups are:
