STIRRING GIANTS

GE launched its Ecomagination initiative this month amidst a prime-time television advertising campaign.

The initiative puts GE’s ambitions in the water sector right at the centre of the group’s strategy to reinvent itself as an eco-friendly company (see story p19). The launch was an opportunity to meet Bill Woodburn, the boss of GE Infrastructure, who likes to claim that “anything worth doing is worth overdoing”.
