The sale of Weir Techna’s desalination business to Veolia has puzzled onlookers.
Techna’s main attraction was its Entropie division, which was set up in 1985 by three Sidem employees. It is expected that Entropie will now be reintegrated with Sidem, which is a division of Veolia Water Systems (VWS).
