Biwater undaunted in Africa

Despite an unpleasant experience in Tanzania, Biwater still has an appetite for African risk. It has just signed a £57 million deal in Nigeria.

Not put off by its recent troubles in Tanzania, Biwater has signed a deal for a £57 million (US$96 million) design-build project in Nigeria. The Usuma Dam Water Treatment Plant (Phases 3 & 4), will provide an extra 240ml/d to Nigeria’s capital city, Abuja.
