The French company has been awarded a contract for an 8MIGD MED unit by SEWA. More orders could follow.
Sidem has been awarded a AED220 million ($60 million) contract by the Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA) for the supply of heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) and an 8MIGD (36,000m3/d) multiple effect distillation (MED) unit at the Layyah power station.
