New wave of bond issues on the way

The water and sewerage companies are looking raise £16.9 million. It will keep the banks and lawyers busy.

Several large UK water and sewerage companies are expected to issue nine-figure bonds over the next few months to meet much of the £16.9 billion they are committed to spend on their capital programmes up to 2010.
