* Dubai Municipality recently invited 13 prequalified groups to bid for the 300,000m<sup>3</sup>/d wastewater treatment plant located at Jebel Ali.

The plant, processing primarily domestic wastewater, will serve the western area of Dubai. The project will be the first of three phases, which will see the plant reach a final capacity of 1 million m3/d. Bids are due by 10 December. MWH is advising on the project.
