The acquisition of Gleeson’s water business could open up international opportunities, as well as offering a “onestop shop” for existing UK customers.
Black & Veatch has more than doubled the size of its UK water operations by acquiring the engineering division of construction and property group Gleeson. The US company seems to have got a good deal, paying only £21.5 million after adjusting for negative net assets, although revenue figures for Gleeson’s water operations are fairly healthy, at around £200 million ...
