* Aqua America continues to mop up local water assets, announcing that it has acquired three systems that supply water to residents in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.

Chairman and CEO Nick DeBenedictis stated that the $100,000 purchase of the water assets is expected to lead to further acquisition opportunities in the area, which currently has a fragmented network of nearly 40 water systems. Aqua America plans to invest nearly $230,000 upgrading the assets over the next few years.
