India’s SEZ policy should in theory provide lucrative business opportunities for water companies. In practice, there is likely to be a long wait.
The Indian Government’s policy to create large industrial parks along the lines of China’s special economic zones (SEZs) may trigger a boom for water treatment facilities, desalination plants and effluent treatment plants to supply water and treat sewage.
