Suez and Veolia have both spent the last three years cutting back their water portfolios. Veolia shed US Filter while Suez shed Nalco and Northumbrian.
Our chart illustrates the water sector revenues of each company and year-end share prices for the last 4 years. Year-on-year water sector revenues have fallen but the share price of each company has climbed and climbed.
