With four major deals over the past year, Aqualia hasn\'t looked back since the split with Veolia in 2004. GWI’s Spain correspondent Richard Weyndling asks Miguel Jurado Fernandez about the company\'s international strategy.

When Veolia divorced the Spanish construction giant FCC in 2004, the latter got custody of their
joint venture in the water sector, Aqualia. The move cut Veolia out of an important European market, but gave FCC a world class water company primed to expand overseas.
