* The Zenon/GE merger looks as if it is going to have a domino effect on alliances in the membrane market.
GE signed an alliance with Pall to supply it with microfiltration and ultrafiltration membranes last summer, and Ionics has had a relationship with X-Flow for its UF/MF membranes.
