The Palm Water episode suggests to Christopher Gasson that good deals are more important than good engineering or good finance.
Hyflux’s Palm Water manoeuvres in Dubai (see story p8) are tantalising for any inquisitive journalist. It is obvious that something has happened between the partners in Palm Water, Hyflux and Istithmar, but no one will go on the record to tell us about it.
