Hyflux accentuates the positive as it pulls out of Palm Water EPC contract

The Singapore company is to be replaced by ACWa Emirates to finish work on two desalination plants for the Palm Jumeirah. The Singapore-based company wants us to call it a “restructuring” rather than a “removal”.

Palm Water has replaced Hyflux Middle East as EPC contractor for the two 32,000m3/d plants it is building for Nakheel’s Palm Jumeirah development off the Dubai coast. Hyflux management vehemently denies the move has anything to do with its ability to fulfil the contract effectively.
