* It has been a busy month in the Gulf. As well as Marafiq (see story p11), developers have been working on their bids for the Mesaieed and Barka 2 IWPPs.
Offers for Barka 2 are due at the end of the month although there is talk of an extension. Bids for the 2,000MW and 181,850m3/d Mesaieed IWPP were submitted earlier in April.
