* Bids for Kuwait’s Shuaiba North power and desalination plant are due on 7 August following an extension to the deadline.
The plant will now have a desalination capacity of 272,765m3/d (60 MIGD) rather than the 227,305m3/d (50 MIGD) originally intended. Power plant output will be 500MW.
