Communal partner for Hanau

Under pressure to cut prices the city is selling 49% of Kreiswerke Hanau.

Main-Kinzig District (MKD) has sold a 49% stake in Kreiswerke Hanau to Oberhessischen Versorgungsbetriebe (Ovag), based in Friedberg, for €11 million. The move follows pressure from the state of Hesse’s cartel office to cut water prices.
