Israel’s Water Commission finds an acute water shortage.
In summing up the hydrological situation of the water resources in Israel after the 2005/06 winter season, the Water Commission states that there now is an acute shortage of water in Israel. The Water Commission maintains that water levels are significantly lower compared with last year, the second consecutive year in which average annual precipitation was low.
