Veolia awaits prize as Saudi privatisation moves on

Expect a number of key announcements on the Riyadh management contract, the National Water Company and the wastewater projects over the next few weeks.

Veolia is expected to be confirmed as the preferred bidder for the Riyadh city water management contract within the next few weeks. No official announcement had been made as GWI went to press, but the rumours at the Saudi Water and Power Forum earlier this month seemed to be incontrovertible.
