* Agbar’s Chilean subsidiary Aguas Andinas is to start work within the next few weeks on its long-planned Los Nogales plant, which will complete the provision of wastewater treatment to metropolitan Santiago.
The $350 million, 380,000m3/d project will be one of the biggest ever undertaken by Agbar outside of Spain.
* Spain’s Prime Minister José Luis Zapatero has pledged $1.5 billion for Latin American water services over the next four years. The financing, likely to be in the form of soft loans, is not dependent on the beneficiaries ...
