* Gelsenwasser has extended a concession contract with the German city of Castrop-Rauxel, giving it the exclusive right to use public rights of way for water supply pipelines for another 20 years.
The company supplies around 4.6 million m3/year of drinking water through a 300km pipeline network from the Witten waterworks to about 78,000 customers, including businesses and industrial clients in the city.
