The proposed 400,000m<sup>3</sup>/d plant will be bundled with the existing facilities at the site and the next IWPP after Ras Azzour.
Saudi Arabia’s programme for privatising its desalination sector is moving ahead, with a number of developments planned for February. The Saline Water Conversion Corporation has announced that the first site to be packaged for sale will be Yanbu.
