* Kahramaa (Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation) has issued an RFP for the 2600 MW/55 MIGD (250,030m<sup>3</sup>/d) Ras Laffan C IWPP.
The list of prequalified bidders includes: AES Corp., Chubu Electric Power Co., Gulf Investment Corp., International Power, Khanjee Holding, Marubeni Corp., Mitsui & Co., SembCorp Utilities, Sojitz Corp., Suez Energy International, Sumitomo Corp., Transfield Services and Union Fenosa. Bids are due on 1 July.
