PAI looks to have made a tidy profit from the sale of Saur, two years after buying the company for just under €1 billion. Did the winning consortium pay over the odds?
It looks as though Saur will remain in French hands, after a three-way consortium of Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, Séché Environnement and Axa Investment Managers looks to have pipped Macquarie to the post by entering into exclusive negotiations with current owner PAI partners.
