Queensland’s new Water Commissioner is doing her bit to streamline the management of the State’s water resources. There is no short-term fix, as Max Borchardt discovers.
As the South East region of Queensland embarks on an era of severe level five water restrictions to save at least some of its remaining water reserves, a revised infrastructure to better manage the business of water is being introduced in Queensland under the aegis of the new Queensland Water Commissioner.
