The German company has broadened its presence in Eastern Europe.
The Polish subsidiary of Remondis Aqua, which is owned by German water and waste company Remondis, has won the public bidding contest for a 50% stake in municipal water and wastewater and public services company ZGKiM in Toszek in southern Poland. Toszek, which lies about 50 kilometres west of Katowice, has about 10,000 inhabitants.
