Veolia subsidiary challenges E.ON in Salzgitter

The fight for control of a local water company in Germany has moved up a gear.

E.ON Avacon, a regional energy subsidiary of E.ON, has been crossed by Veolia’s Brauschweig-based subsidiary BS Energy in its efforts to take control of water, gas and district heating utility WEVG, which is based in the German town of Salzgitter.
