Agbar expands into North Africa

Agbar has been awarded the Oran management contract in Algeria, beating Saur into second place. It wasn\'t all bad news for the French company, as it picked up a nearby DBO.
The Algerian Ministry of Water Resources has announced that Catalan water company Agbar has won a five-and-a-half year contract to manage the drinking and wastewater networks which serve 1.5 million people in the Algerian province of Oran.
