“Selling the brains” – AnoxKaldnes joins forces with Veolia Water S&T

Swedish water treatment company AnoxKaldnes expects to close a takeover deal with Veolia in August. It will need to boost profitability if management is to retain independence within the group.

After a long hunt for a source of external investment capital, Swedish wastewater treatment technology company AnoxKaldnes is to be bought by Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies in a deal which values the company at SKR686 million. The acquisition is expected to close by mid-August, after an initial share purchase agreement was signed with AnoxKaldnes’ “A” shareholders in June.
