This month’s chart shows the percentage of water revenues generated from measured supplies by UK WaSCs in 2006-7, as well as the percentage by which these have gained ground against unmeasured since 2005-6.
Anglian and South West derive more than 50% of their water revenues from measured customers, and are thus more vulnerable to weather-related demand fluctuations. A cold wet summer such as 2007 can have a significant impact on revenues.
