* SembCorp has won the contract for the 50MGD (189,250m<sup>3</sup>/d) NEWater plant at Changi in Singapore.
The plant will have an initial capacity of 15MGD in 2009, and is expected to reach full capacity the following year. Under a DBOO agreement, SembCorp will supply NEWater to Singapore’s national water agency PUB over a 25-year period. The first-year water price is $0.29966/m3.
