The Catalan government is working with local industry on an ambitious water reuse scheme. Although interest is high, recovery of the initial investment could prove tricky.
Government and industry in Catalunya are to collaborate in the implementation of a two-year plan to expand industrial water reuse in the region – the first initiative of its kind in Spain. The move is part of an effort to alleviate the growing pressure on water resources from changing rainfall patterns.
