EPM considers private concessions

Private water operators could benefit from the utility’s expansion plans.

Colombia’s Medellin-based utility EPM is evaluating granting concessions to private firms for some of its water projects, as its portfolio of water, electricity and telecoms operations grows, a source close to the company said.
