Christ Water’s near-death experience

For three days, the Swiss ultrapure water specialist saw its market capitalisation languish below €45 million – then it rose again after the company issued a trading statement outlining its proposed restructuring.

Christ Water Technology, the Swiss industrial water treatment specialist, announced plans to save €6 million per year after its share price plummeted to less than €2.00 this month. The restructuring follows the ousting of CEO Karl- Michael Millauer in August, and represents a reversal of his growth strategy.
