* Ofwat has granted Independent Water Networks Limited (IWNL) its second inset appointment to enable it to provide water and sewerage services to a new development in Corby, Northamptonshire.
* A consortium including Veolia Water and WTE Wassertechnik has won a €500 million contract to upgrade and extend the Czajka wastewater treatment plant in Warsaw, Poland from 200,000m3/d to 435,000m3/d. Veolia Water’s share is approximately €148 million. The work is scheduled for completion in 2010, after which Czajka will be the largest WWTP ...
