The plan to float 25% of the Thai water concessionaire has stalled again. There seem to be plenty of excuses.
Thai Tap Water’s long-awaited initial public offering is set to encounter further delays, according to its financial advisor Kasikorn Securities. K-Sec chairman Rapee Sucharitakul stated on 22 January that poor market conditions were to blame for the postponement, which is likely to push the deal into the second quarter of 2008.
