RWE seems set to divest the majority of American Water by the middle of May. It will allow American to focus on recreating shareholder value.
American Water is expected to hold physical roadshows in Europe and the US in April ahead of an IPO before the middle of May. That’s the latest message from the market, and it certainly seems as if parent company RWE is keen to push ahead with the deal.
