We’ve had the Pitt review. Now, competition in the UK water industry will be scrutinised by a team headed up by Martin Cave. The critics are already circling.
Competition in the UK water sector is being reassessed, with the government considering a range of new approaches, including the possibility of extending the choice of supplier for customers. Defra announced in late February that Professor Martin Cave of Warwick Business School will lead a yearlong study which will complement the government’s water strategy for England.
